Do you know the difference between blister cups and injection cups?

  1. Injection molding: molding is mostly used for thermoplastics. It is similar to extrusion molding, the difference is that the molten plastic enters the closed mold through the nozzle, and the product is solidified and formed in the mold. More production of small boxes, daily necessities. Injection cups, disposable milk tea cups, etc. It can also be used for hot plastic processing.
  2. Blister: The main principle of this plastic processing technology is to heat and soften the flat plastic hard sheet, and then vacuum it to the surface of the mold, and then form it after cooling. It is widely used in plastic cups, plastic packaging, lighting, advertising, etc. decoration and other industries.

The blister product is formed by heating the sheet, then pushing the sheet out by suction to bond the sheet and the mold, and then cooling and forming. Such materials are mostly used in electronic products, digital products, toys, stationery, hardware accessories, etc. If the product has quality problems, there will be bubbles, crystal points, pulling wires, scratches, uneven materials, etc. There are blister boxes, blister shells, blister trays, blister covers and other types.

Injection molded products are generally more expensive than blister products and are produced differently. It is usually made by extruding the hot-melted plastic onto an injection mold using pressure, and then cooling and molding. Usually used for mobile phone cases, computer cases, plastic cups, mouse cases, hardware accessories cases, etc. If the product has quality problems, there will be color difference, insufficient filling, welding marks, warping deformation, ripples, etc.

The blister product is a hot-soft production mode, which can blister multiple products at one time by multiple molds. The injection mold in the injection cup has a longer production cycle, and is produced by pressing multiple products of a single mold shape, and does not need to be subdivided to directly form the product. From the perspective of practical application, blister is a product in the form of packaging, while injection molding is a product in the form of an item. The same is that both are plastic products.
